Train sound, when under heavy load round corner vibrating etc AUDI S3

So I've been doing a lot of research on this and not getting anywhere definitive!
Problem occurs when turning, especially right at 40/50mph. What happens is a slight vibration in the steering wheel, which you can feel through the floor slightly and a train type noise (not a bearing whirring noise). The best way to describe it is as if the wheel has been taken off and put back on without the wheelnuts tightened...!

When driving straight it's perfectly fine, only shakes and whines when going through the gears hard in corners...

Love to hear any ideas it's driving me nuts...

Sounds like a cv joint has gone. I've got the same problem. Going to change mine tonorrow
