Audi A3 8p dash air vents upgrade

Hi please can you guys tell me which other Audi models the pictured air vents fit? They have been removed from a my12 sportback. Thanks.

I would imagine they fit most a3/8l/8p/tt

They will fit the 8P chassis, A3, S3 RS3 & 8J chassis, TT, TTS, TTRS.

I wondered the same. I'm not sure if I like them or not yet though. Just because they're different doesn't make them better I keep reminding myself.
They look like they should swap straight over from what you can see at the front, although I've only seen them in photo's, but we'll have to see what Nigel says, he'll know.

So what have you replaced them with?

The back end of the vents has a larger diameter, which has made me think twice about fitting them.

Ironically I was playing with some in an 8V recently to understand the mechanisms, they seemed, well a little weird & almost borderline cheap to use as such, bit like the AMG ones I was playing with on the merc stand at goodwood.

I'm still researching so watch this space.
