DSG STALLED IN HOT WEATHER WHEN IN REVERSE

Hi there i have a 2.0 tdi bkd dsg.

This has happened similar time last year it stalled whilst reversing. The car was being washed, and when i went to move it and put it in reverse it stalled! Similar thing happened last year when i was reversing out the driveway. Don't think its stalled in any other gear but does feel a little choppy.

No error codes.
Any ideas whats caused it?
 
What is your engine idle RPM? With mine, selecting reverse, I usually just let the car move itself gently without any throttle. Perhaps if the idle is set too low, the sudden selection of a gear may stall it. A long shot perhaps.
 
Both times after washing?

Is the drive on a slope?

Hi no real slope. Problem is fixed now............. Car is sold :crying: ( £500 depreciation in 14 months).

Both occasions the aircon was on full blast, car was cold(approx 10 secs started) but temp outside above 30degrees, idle was a bit choppy.
