    Fitting a CAI

    Hi All,
Just a quick question. Will the car throw up a warning light when a new CAI is fitted in replacement of the standard air intake system?

    Cheers.

not to start of but if you fitted a cheap intake engine light could have come up after a while due to some intakes having badly design MAF section causing LTFT being dangerously high. Therefore pick a well known brand like Revo/AMD(make sure is the revised section)/VWR(with revised MAF version) or Neuspeed.
    Be patient. English is tough.

    Now:

REVO CAI already delivered. Looking at the fitting instructions it should be easy.

Don't know if yours has a turbo but turbo'd cars when fitting a CAI will require a remap no?

With my Impreza I used to own if you fitted a CAI with no map tweak it was pretty much engine suicide

also make sure you dont fit the MAF the wrong way like i did on the car wouldnt start so had to unplug the MAF, correct the position and clear the fault code

With Impeza's you tend to have to be careful with anything you do, so many issues from people trying to put aftermarket parts straight on, Dump Valves/CAI etc... But that's another story.

I'd personally buy a revo intake however still waiting for some potential discounts. Its just too expensive for what it is.
