Anyone shed light on this problem?

I have an 09 1.4tfsi audi a3, and these past few weeks its started to jolt. Sometimes quite badly. As an example if im in 4th gear, and i keep my foot down sometimes the revs will go up rapidly at 2k and will go up to about 3.5k then the needle comes back down to where its meant to. Also when this happens the gear selection icon dissapears as if the clutch is in when in fact it isnt. Anyone help?

I have this problem now and again i think my clutch is slipping as im on standard clutch still, yours could be boost leak so have that tested before you buy a clutch lol
