rear power socket

Hello, my 2002 gtdi Golf has a power supply connector to fit an accessory socket in the boot, which I have just done , 10 mins.
My question is has the Audi A3 quattro 2010 tdi got this spare socket ready for this extra, Wife is out in the car so I can't check.

No mate, you have to wire it through, I have the same to do to ours tbh, so I can fit a rechargeable lenser usb unit.

I've had a number of side trims out on the 8P's & never once seen a hanging loom there ready, anxious, tongue out panting awaiting a connection lol.

Ok serious note, its usually situated on the right side wall trim, in the recessed area iirc.
