Anyone used cheapy ebay HID kits?

Something like this AUDI CANBUS ERROR FREE H7 XENON HID LIGHTS CONVERSION KIT A3, A4, TT, QUATTRO | eBay

Obviously seems like a nice deal and upgrade, but what are the pitfalls? Will it error anyway? Am I better off just buying halfords ultra brights?!?

Or what about these; AUDI A3 2003-2008 8P BLACK LED DRL DAYLIGHT RUNNING LIGHT DEVIL EYE HEADLIGHTS | eBay

Can I bung them in the car? haha

    Alternatives welcome!

Which A3 have you got? Theres an issue with using HID kits in the A3 as it can cause the wiper motor to blow unless used with a specially made loom. I used a loom with an ebay HID kit with no problems for 6months except the error on the dash when the lights were on, the kit was a canbus kit too.

The issues with aftermarket hid kits is it will most likely blow the wiper motor, just fit oem's if you're going to.

After you get me to fit media systems Kieron :P
