    where are you from i have 2 places in sheffield that would do the flex and not charge hundreds
    thats if you fancied a drive up
    plus full invoice to claim off the seller.

    im in wakefield
    just rung a place in leeds someone recommended me on this forum, they said its around £150 job tops - so booked in with them next week and they can check it out.

    As per my PM, I'd get it taken to Tony Banks in Leeds if it's not too far, they know what they're doing.

    No worries mate, they came recommended to me as well. I'm sure they'll be able to sort you out, from what they told me, they can do literally anything to do with exhausts!

    so should the car feel normal once the exhaust is repaired.
    ?
    Atm the car is really sluggish, and lost a lof power - hoping these are just symptoms from the exhaust blowing.

    well, tony banks exhausts sorted out the problem, pretty cheap aswell.

    Though i still feel the turbo isnt working as it should, what RPM normally does the boost kick in?

    ive had my share of car troubles and its not a god place to be in makes you sick thiking about it anyway hope it all gets resolved if not come to manchester and i can promise you that it will be sorted here at my mates garage

    if the dealer told you to go elswhere to fix it, get that in writting then send him the bill.
    Im a bit far but if you wanted to pop over and have vcds scans and boost logs etc to try to get to the bottom of the power issues feel free to drop me your number.

    had a similar experience some years back, went to trading standards in hillingdon but they were useless feckers said they couldn't do jack unless loads of other people have complained about the dealer. so sorry TS are pretty useless too.

    I think only in extreme cases ts actually get involved but in this case I think you should just thank it's nothing major :thumbup:

    ye i just prefered to get it sorted myself. Saves all the hassle / being without a car while its fixed etc....

    paid £182 for the work doing
    as opposed to £2058 at Audi lol :D
