My 55 reg TDI sport was making funny noise, so took it to my local garage and the plugged it in to computer, code pointed to throttle body stuck, they dropped pipe and confirmed valve stuck open.
so I will replace, have taken the valve off already and part number 038128063G, do I need the very same number as I see some end in different letters? also noticed it was a bit oily in the pipe to valve and vale it's self, is this normal?

links to cheapest valve appreciated too.

Wrong section of the forum dude. However you'll find that your fuse has blown for the overrun shut off. It's a 10amp fuse in the engine bay fuse box. Problem fixed. ;)

I did read about fuse blowing, but if it blew then the motor most probably has a short. Will check the fuse when I replace, not sure about it being oily?
Insult to injury I broke the clip on the 4 pin connector that on the loom, doh! Will use zip ties to hold it in place if I can, couldn't find any connectors online and would need a pin tool.

I have for sale if you need one in good working order
