RNSE mk2 on pre-facelift 8P. How bad is the radio reception?

Without the antenna upgrade is AM reception also effected as Talk sport is all I'm bothered about.;-)

In my 2005 SB, perfect! I think it's the facelifts that have the aerial problem.

I think it's models from 2007+ that are affected.

Mine was registered March 07 but the data plate in the engine bay says August 06. My existing HU is a Symphony II. It has an ISO connector.
