Firstly, since filter change/new intake my MPG is better. Now getting 30mpg if gentle.
However, I have an odd cold-start issue. In the mornin, here's what happens:
a) Turn engine over
b) Rev dial takes about 1-second longer than normal to move ... it's on 0rpm even though the engine is running during that second
c) The idle is a bit rough for half a second then settles to rev a bit high
d) Needle wakes up, shows correct (but too high) 1100-1200 RPM
e) Revs settle to 1000rpm before settling to 800rpm as normal.
Warm starts are fine.
Car drives fine otherwise. PCV is new-ish, been there and changed that. Fuel related? Seems odd that the dash needle is a bit laggy too but could be unrelated.
