New wipers making a horrible noise

I'd be interested to hear how much Audi charged you for wiper blades :laugh:
 
Mine did it the other day, no reason why just on the back stroke right at the end was making a horrific squeal as if it was rubbing dry. It eventually stopped, I can only think it's slightly out of line and creating too much friction somewhere.

Might sound daft but did you try a good squirting of screenwash to help them slide justr inacase it was a dry patch?

yep, or treat your windscreen with some rain-x and put a bit over the blade too, perfection!
