In the wngine measuring blocks i think its either 15-4-5?! One of those it says BTDC mine says 0.0 BTDC is that okay? Its winding over longer before it starts and it starts with abit of a miss for a couple of seconds!
What should the BTDC be ona bkd?

When warming up from stone cold (under 50C) injection will be around 1-2 degrees BTDC, this then ******* as the car heats up to around 4-5 degrees ATDC.
What group are you getting your readings from in VCDS?
There's a whole host of thing that will affect this figure, rpm, temp, fuel quality etc as the ECU will constantly be adjusting though the warm up phase. One thing you definately dont want is a figure in BTDC when warmed up as its runs the risk of pushing the crank rotation in the wrong direction!
