Hello everybody,

I have upgrated my Audi A3 3 Doors MY2004 because after what i want install Bi-xenon

After the installation and done the coding, no more errors at vagcom scan are present.

But on the dashboard i have 2 Errors:
- Rear fog light right not working
- Rear back-up light left not working

My A3 LHD is a version 3 door (not Sportback) and have only the rear fog light left and the back-up right.

Original A (17 bytes)
05 8C 4F 06 80 14 10 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00

New F (23 bytes)
05 8C 4F 06 80 14 10 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 08 FF 1F 5C 01 00

for test i try to remove the bulb present on the car "Rear back-up light right"
and an additional error come on dash:
- Rear back-up light left not working

it's like the car is configured for 2 rear fog lamps and 2 back-up lamps.

The byte 3 is correct

bit 1: Rear fog light 1 active
bit 2: Reverse driving light 1 active

i try a lot of setting with the vag not not possible to clear theses errors.

Pehaps need some wiring ?

Somedody can help me to remove these 2 errors ?

where abouts are you?
there is alot of work needed when you change over the CE modules. you really want to see what the wiring pinouts are on the A module and compare that to the F module.
there is also some coding changes you may need to make as the new modules dont always have the same options that you had before.

it's like the car is configured for 2 rear fog lamps and 2 back-up lamps.

there is a coding on the F module for the sportbacks that have 2 for and reverse lights... cant tell you what byte and bit it is but have a browse through

Hi, i'm from switzerland, How i can check the wiring for version A and F. Where a can get the diagram and pinout ?

you need to be more patient!

The below is from a 2004 (A) to the newer 2008 (K) module. some wiring may be different from the F module but its a guide you could use
