Chrome Roof Bar/Strips Part number

Hi All,

I've not long puchased an Audi A3 and very pleased so far, however I'm after a bit of advice. I've got a 59 plate A3 Technik Sportback version and it has the chrome roof bars/strips. Would these ever of been a factory fit option or always a retro fit? I've had some damage done to one of them and taken it to a local VW dealer bodyshop as they are closer who after putting the VIN number can't find them and say they've never seen them before. They say they will speak with Audi, however I thought I would ask the question to see if anyone knows what the part number would be and if they are an Audi item or after market.

Yes factory fit kit aswell as retrofit.

Go to an audi dealership not vw to get a replacement, but take note roof lining has to drop & trims to remove/refit.

We could offer this service of supply/fit if interested, location dependent.

Ok, thanks for info. There is some body work to do as well, but the strip took most of the impact. Where abouts are you based? I'm in Midlands.

We tried to get some photos yesterday and the damage is not showing up very well.
