Exciting Times

Next week hopefully. The slowest repair in the history of the world.
A few weeks ago i realised i dont have time to fix it with the new busniess and all so I booked it in to an audi specialist in leeds for them to sort. Unfortunately we had a fall out so after nearly 2 weeks and no progress me and my mate went and picked it up.
Its now at another garage with instructions I need it back by the end of the month.
Piston rings are being replaced as well now!

I take it your new business isn't a rally team mechanic then not long now though and hopefully it runs spot on a big pain having to trailer it though.

Ha ha. No not a mechanic lol. Chase Architectural Services Limited, for all your architectural needs :)
yeah I was disappointed that I had to recover it from Leeds, the garage has a very good reputation, but theses things happen I suppose.

I really hope it runs ok when I get it back, I have replaced everything I can replace so fingers crossed........

Not far off now.......
Engine, gearbox and transfer box have been out,oil lines have been flushed, new piston rings installed, chains are done, head is back on, , exhaust manifold reinstalled, fuel rain and injectors back on, oil coolers back on, thermostat housing back on with all new sensors and thermostat.
Just need to remember where the f ck all these hoses go now and il be back in business.
Also I'm in two minds as to whether I should change the rocker cover or not now before I put the inlet manifold back on.......
