Hammerit BBQ Painting Chrome Grille Surround

So I decided to use hammerite bbq paint from halfords to spray my chrome grille surround. I did lots of research and found that this would give the best results.

here is my car masked up

I applied the first coat and thats here in the pic below

The paint went on really well then I let it dry and applied a further 6 coats and here is the finished result

As you can see it looks ok. I have been driving for a week and not noticed and chips or scratches on it.

This weekend I intend to spray my tail lights with the e tech tinting spray.

does it not just 'clip' off? im doing mine at the weekend and was hoping it did as im going to use plasti dip so it can be removable.

from the looks of it, cant you just go straight onto the step to remove the grill? if its just 2 screws then pop off?

Looks good mate, well done!

Every time I've tried to spray something in the past I make a hash of it so won't let myself near the audi lol
