Boot strut adjustment

I was wondering if there was something I can adjust with the Boot Struts to shorten the height of the rear boot lid.

I want it so it doesn't go as far back as it normal does.


Any body know if I can do this ?

Most struts have similar balljoints. If you can get to a scrappy, see if they'll let you try any shorter ones you can find.

Does anybody the total length ?

I've checked euro car parts and they have 2 different lengths .

1 is 495 mm and the other is 488 mm

Ok I've worked out the length of my strut.. it's [FONT=arial, tahoma, verdana]475mm . Does anybody know if it's possible to install a smaller version ? [/FONT]
