Recently had a double din conversion done and now my air con is acting up. Air only comes out of the vents when the econ button is lit up. The fan still sounds like its working when the econ isn't on bit no air comes out the vents. The air con pipes under the bonnet are still cold if the makes any difference. Can anyone help as I'd like to sort it quick if it's an easy fix now the weather's warming up. Thanks for any help in advance.

What's the manufacture date of that unit & part number, is it the facelift with chrome dials?

54 plate and no its just the double din version of the one I had not the facelift one with chrome dials.
Well you need to check the part number & date, there are black versions that were fitted to post mid 07 onwards cars that used the facelift heater systems which aren't compatible with earlier cars.

I have the new facelift buttons fitted, how hard will it be to quickly pull those off so I can get the air con unit out to swap the faces and put my old one back in?
