Since my bi-xenon retrofit i have had my interior and exterior lights flickering when the engine is idling (not when the engine is off though).
Talked with Ash about this, and we both agreed alternator.

Anything else i could try before more expenditure?

('05 2.0 TDi Sportback)
 
Alternator clutch pulley? Alternator?
 
Is this with your headlights on? Do they stop flickering when you give it just a few revs? Is your battery fully charged?

With or without headlights on.
When i rev the car they flicker at the same rate as the engine ticks over..
