Hi all. I've just been quoted £1177 for a dual mass flywheel and clutch replacement from an Indie. Seems horrendously expensive to me. Its a 2008 2.0 TDi 170. Does anybody know somewhere that may be able to do it cheaper? I'm not bothered where if I can save money. Thanks for any help.

I had the same question a few weeks ago. I got Audi down to £1050 so your independent seems too expensive. I had it done a back street garage for £745 in the end and all seems sweet at the moment. I got a 2 year warranty with it too.
I would expect that even the cheapest wont do it for less than 700 fitted
very roughly you can get Dmf for 300 and a clutch kit for 150 and a release bearing for 35
I've just payed 240 labour to fit and tht was based on four hours bearing in mind most will quote longer than this (6-8 hours is not unheard of)
