Hi all, going to view this car today.
Never had an audi before just would like people oppions and common faults with them it's a 2.0 diseal. But the mileage puts me off its 160.000, coming from a vxr the power is going to be different but I'm In need of something good on fuel

Check for white smoke on start up, the head could be on its way out. Also check the part number of the head too, they revised it a couple of times, avoid if the part number ends in A.

Oh, also check for turbo whistle, could also be on its way out at that mileage.

225bhp from just a remap, at a stock 140bhp? doesn't sound right mate.

Check that its had its cambelt done at 60k & 120k, + will be due another in 20k so maybe thats a bargaining tool?

Also check if the clutch & Dual Mass Flywheel have been done if not & it goes wrong thats £800-£1000 worth of work needed, this is especially important with the remap (which would never be 225bhp even with a hybrid turbo on this car).
