Going to change the oil in the Haldex and rear diff on our 06 A3 Tdi quattro. We have got the new filter ready, does anybody know what oil goes in the rear diff? Is it just normal gearbox oil? Does anybody know the specs of the oil for the haldex? Thanks

Do not be confused by diff oil and Haldex oils. Both different and each has it's own fill and drain points/procedures on the rear axial.
Buy ETKA DVD from eBay which will explain how/where/what to work on.
Because it's a bit of a ***** of a job on axial stands, I had an independent do it for £45 incl all parts oil and VAT.
