Rear sub

A/ Is there one ?
B/ Where is it ?
C/ How does one check it works ?

I was listening to a CD last night ('JX-Son of a gun',for those that may remember it ) and found that all the bass was coming from the bass speaker in the dash, which was starting to distort a bit.

As I faded towards the rear, the bass disappeared, hence my question.

Bose set-up,by the way.

The speaker in the middle at the front is a mid range to complete the supposed surround sound. It shouldn't be providing any bass. The sub is left side of the boot behind the side panel. Pic here...

Cheers.
It does appear to be working.
Probably sounds more effective in the three door,it being closer to the driver and all.

Re: Rear sub

It's not effective in any model. The centre speaker is hideous and should be disconnected, all it provides is harsh (baby crying) middle.

Re: Rear sub

Can you 'tune out' the harshness of the middle speaker by accessing the EQ codes (which I've seen on the net) ?
