Thanks to the advice on sizes I'm about 99% set to pull the trigger on some 19x8.5 ET45 VMR 710s.
Two choices left to make are colour and tyre size.
Choice of colour is between silver and anthracite. Car is phantom black S3 sportback with black optics pack. Have looked through the rims thread but so many posts you can't find anything specific (needs an index!!), does anyone have pictures of a black s3 SB with VMR 710s on?
Second question is still tyres, 225 or 235. I do plan on lowering the car, not slamming it but either some KW V1 coil overs or just Eibach/H&R springs (not decided yet) and I don't want any rubbing. 225s would seem to be the way to go to reduce chance of rubbing, but a 235 gives more protection of the expensive rims and a bit more protection from our crap roads!
