    Drill or stick?

I just bought a roof spoiler for my sportback.
It has two holes for fitting to the boot lid. This means that I should drill holes in the lid.
Should I drill or I can just use some double sided sticky tape?

    I'd say stick.

Don't just use double sided tape though, get some TigerSeal or similiar and it won't be moving anywhere!

Not a chance would I drill.
I used sikaflex (or something similar) to fit my spoiler and votex splitter.....they are not coming off.
The body shop that painted it recommended windscreen bond.
Up to you in the end, but I wouldnt do it.
....................I'll make a build thread one day.

Yes Tigerseal or Sikaflex (or windscreen bond sealant) are probably all about the same thing. Just need to make sure the car is not driven for at least 12hrs (overnight) whilst it goes off. Tape it down firmly onto the car too.

    Ok! I'll stick it than.
I'll have to get it painted first.
    Thank you for the feedback!

I see there are three lugs on the back of the spoiler. Which ones do I cut?
The ones on the sides only?

Yes just the outer two. You can utilise the centre one I'm sure with a screw; you will need the right LED stop light though to work with the spoiler as the standard one is different I think from memory!

The spoiler came with lights too. Thank you!
I hope next week I'll manage to get it painted and installed.
