Shudder when idle/ subsides when aircon is activated

So i just got back from a specialist near me and they say that they have no idea as there is no glaring faults with the engine. Fuel quality checked too. Anybody have any ideas?
I want to start modding but dont want to remap it until this shudder thing is sorted

Could it be a bit slow on the engine idle? When the aircon switches on, I believe the engine controller increases the engine idle speed to compensate for the additional load. Engine idle speed can be set with VCDS, so you could try setting this a bit higher and see what happens. Worth a try I would think.

That was my suspicion but the garage didnt see that, im wondering if they wernt that bothered. The revs increase ever slow slightly when i turn ac on so i rekon your spot on. Its nice to know that theres nothing big wrong with it anyway so i can start planning mods.
