Car: '58 S3 Sportback S-Tronic

Me: 34 with 8yrs NCB and a clean license, living in Essex and doing < 5k a year, social only.

History: Clean license, claimed last October when my 997 was stolen (£34k payout).

Quotes:

Stock car was getting quotes around £350 via confused.com with MORE TH>N (total excess £600)

Stage 1 (REVO map only ~300bhp) was £529 via Greenlight

Stage 2+ (TBE, HPFP, CAI, coils and 340bhp) was....£529 via Greenlight

Basically they said the power wasn't the issue, was the £34k claim last year, so they'd charge me £529 even if it was stock!

Improves the case for going straight to Stage 2+!!
 
I've been very pleased with Greenlight.....as you say,they don't focus too much on the power(which is nice),but more on other things,and the result for me was £600 all inc,with all the mods declared.
 
Nearly £200 added on for a remap though (cheapest for stock was £330 in the end).

Have emailed Ben@AmD for some prices on stage 2+

Ben and the guys are great....you'll get superb service,and a big smile on your face once it's done.
 
Have dealt with them a few times as I've had a number of modified Audis and an R32 turbo

I only asked as I saw a couple of HGP turbos there last time,along with all of the other hardware....good luck with the car,and hope you enjoy it!
 
I had a silver mk4 with an HPA blackjack kit, but sold it a few years ago now.

Beautiful stuff....must have been very quick indeed,and if I remember,it's now HPA that make the best DSG clutch upgrades.

When I was looking at going from Stage 1 to 2+ I was quoted £1500 on top of the £600 I was paying for the year. Guess it depends on the driver and insurer.
