Recaro Buckets...

Had a look but don't seem to be able to find the answer I'm looking for...

My new S3 doesn't come with the Recaro Buckets, just the standard S3 leather seats. Will any of the Recaro buckets fit (RS4, S4, S5 etc) in an S3 or do they need to be the S3 specific ones? Also, where's the best place to look for a pair?

Yes you can fit other bucket seats, wiring would need adapting, I have a set of RS4 seats in storage up for sale ping me a PM for a price, got few people interested atm.

Any from a 4 door car will obviously be lacking the tilt function though.

If you have a 3dr hatch you need either RS4 cabrio or R8 seats (or S3 3dr wold work) otherwise you'll have to wind the seat forward manually to let people in the back.

I'm sure he would, its a subject I find interesting & lets be honest, its what all sales/marketing is based around, but in this case, its not BS
