Door has drop now.won't open?

I have a Audi a3 2004 plate 2.0 tdi

And the door has dropped so was going to sort it today but now the door.won't open now catch won't open it nothing

Anyone know of anyway to open a door without a catch cant get door card off well only a little bit

Thought Audi have presure locks or something ??

No proper Shut handle.cable i think is not connected really stuck

Wind down the window. Get two strong persons outside of the car to reach inside and grab whatever they can and lift the door. Someone inside then operates the door release handle and gives it a big shove. That just might shift it. Good luck.

Tried that no cable works on handle so im stuck what to do

What about the outside handle? Does that work at all?

Strange both the inside and out side shouldnt fail togeather
unless the lock is jammed somehow

Yeah both have stop working just you can feel it trying to work but think.the lock is jammed up

So anyone got any thoughts how to open the door, crowbar or bar cloth protecting the paint

Take it to a body shop nearby. They will have more special tools, including bodywork clamps that they can fasten to the door itself. If it needs a crowbar, they are the best people to do it to avoid a lot of damage. Another idea is to try to get some WD40 into the lock mechanism. Either through the key hole, or down through the window guides (with window down), or if you can pull the door card a bit, and squirt in there.
