TDI Balnce shaft & injector issues, which year to buy from to avoid these issues?

Hello A3 Gurus. I currently have a 2007 B7 A4 TDI 170 with the BRD engine. To date I have had the injector issues which were replaced by Audi and im driving a car waiting for balance shaft problems which is not nice as you can imagine. Im considering selling and getting the A3 as I no longer need a large family car. I know injectors was a recall but the balance is not to date but they redesigned it throughout 2005-2008 and seem to have eradicated it for when they released the current shape A4, late 2008 onwards. The A3 8P was produced until 2012, so when I can I be 99% sure that im buying a car without these issues looming over me? Thanks Jay.
