FULL AUDI S3 PLASTIDIP !!

Hi Guys,


Jut thought i would share this with you... I get random thoughts in my head and carry them out this was one of them lol!


MATT white dip over a Phantom Black S3...


Over all it went pretty decent! but the night mare was when it came to peeling it off as it gets everywhere!!

I used a 40/60% mix take like 7 coats that go on thin...

If any of you guys want advice or tips don't hesitate to ask

I had a quick go with plastidip the other day on my fog surrounds. Had 4 coats straight from the can, have notice that some of its started to peel already. Can I 'stick' it back down or is it a start again job.

Hi mate, i only had this on for 3 weeks then wanted my shine back lol! if its already started peeling peel it all off, wipe the surface with panel wipe to remove all the grease and make sure it doesn't get disturbed whilst setting you should be fine!

I like the shine, one reason why I can't bring my self to do my car. lol

If its starting to peel, you can stick it back down with thinners but really you want to peel it off and start again.

Haha summer is here mate all about a nice deep shine! makes the ladys look lol!

That looks lovey, how much plasti dip did you use?

Hi Snipe, I used 5 liters, thinned it to a 60/40 mix popped it in the air gun and had a happy day, took around 6/7 coats to get it nicely finished, but it killed the paint work when we took it off so dull and ugly

nothing that a good old G3 Buff and Carnauba couldnt sort tho

Me and my brother both have been thinking of Plasti Dipping both of our A3's however the only that stopped us was DVLA. Im still not sure whether we are to report a colour change to the DVLA or as Plasti Dip and Vinyl are both temporary and removable its not necessary.

Amazing job, lovely finish mate. Mind me asking how much it cost you in total?

Looks pretty good mate, shame it didn't last long though.
