    Chirping noise

    Hi guys,

This morning my car is making a chirping noise when driving that's comming from the right front of the car, any ideas what it could be?
    Gets worse when turning right.

Did spend all of yesterday launching the car, maybe this has done something?

Chirping noise, maybe a bird you ran over is crying out, I'm stuck

Well could be a belt tbh, but try spraying some wd40 on the aux belt see if it goes.

1st thing in morning see if the noise comes back when cars idling on drive, if so, don't drive the car, leave running & again spray some wd40 on the belt & see if it goes, if so, then its either belt or tensioner.

    Chirping noise

I've got this same issue. Sprayed wd40 on the belt and it stopped. Not sure for long though. It's only doing it around 1000-1200 revs. Did you ever get yours fixed?

erm something similar happened before and it turned out to be warped brake discs?! got all the pads and discs replaced. Now again, a similar chipring noise.

Sprayed some wd40 and did some harsh braking, so not sure what it was but the noise is now gone

imho using an oil like WD40 not good as it attracts dirt to stick. Perhaps a dry silicone spray would be better.

After some looking about on the web it seems to be an issue with the alternator pulley. I'll check that in a bit!
