Hi,

I have a 2004 A3 2.0TDi
I'm fairly sure my unit is the concert system, not Bose or anything else fancy.

I have searched but not found the exact answer I'm after. I want to fit either an AUX input, or a way in which I can play music through my iPhone as cheap as possible, obviously without changing headunit.

I have looked on eBay and come across various kits, but wondered whether they're plug n' play, do they require alot of work, will they work with my particular headunit etc?

Any help will be greatly appreciated, thanks!

I bought a connects 2 unit for mine - it simulates the presence of the CD changer - so you can play files from 6 playlists on your ipod. Only it didn't work, so returned it and fitted an old headunit I've had for ages and a DAB unit that I also had lurking. Now I listen tothe ipod using one of those cheapo cassette adaptors :-(

Parrot mki9200, does have an ipod/iphone connection or you can steam by bluetooth.

I have a xcarlink it works great £150 in the end I think it was. Not quite cd quality as advertised but its still pretty good. Bluetooth music never is excellent though.
