Insurance will sort it if you have windscreen cover(fairly normal to have these days), normally will cost you £50-75 on excess.
Phone Autoglass and they will do all the paper work. You do not need to phone your insurers at all.
All you have to do is tell autoglass where to go to fix it, your name and reg. and confirm who your insurance company is.
And no i dont work for them!

£180 supply/fit at my guys iirc, I went for a guardian the other day due to the pilkington I had before was crap for my mirror/sensor, the poxy wipers used to go of everytime I moved the damn mirror, guardian screen hasnt once done this since last week & mirror fixing feels hell of allot more sturdy/planted.
