I'm interested in retro fitting cruise control but iv just read an advert which said I may need to change a slip ring.

Iv had a look round the forum but can't find any info can any one expand on what I may need to buy?

Thanks Jack

What year and model A3 do you have fella?
Also do you have the trip computer or MFSW or MFSW with paddles(if DSG)?

Answer the above, and I can give you the answer.

I have a 2006 with no MF but if you mean trip computer as is DIS with mpg and fuel range etc yeah I have that :)

No need for a new slip ring then, and your current module will support cruise.
If ever in London, I can offer you this, have done for many on here and elsewhere, otherwise PM Nigel as he travels all over.

Thanks mate

I couldn't be any further away from London without being in another country I live in the lakes lol but help was much appreciated :)
