My new car and question

Hi guys, picked up my A3 2.0TDI 140 8P3 two weeks ago and love it so far.

I have one question though which after a number of hours looking I cant seem to find a similar issue. When I turn the ignition on I get what sounds like an indicator relay which tick tocks about 5 times then stops. Only happens when I turn the ignition each time from completely off. If I stop the engine but leave the ignition and start the engine again it doesn't sound. Its not the exact same sound as the indicator tick tock but it does seem to come from the drivers side around the steering wheel/column.

Welcome to the forum mate, and congrats on the new car.

Those "tick tocks" you describe, are most likely the car doing its checks, so nothing to worry about mate.
