Not very clued up on cars and parts but I have a 2.0 tdi 138 which i believe is remapped. The clutch recently stuck to the floor and a local garage says the master cylinder is gone and basically needs a new clutch. Now i realise a remap can be hard on the clutch so is it worth me upgrading or replacing with original? If so what are the costs involved?

Personally if its a good stage one map and not to aggressive I would stick with standard clutch for prices I would have a look on eurocarparts for the clutch and go to a local indie to fit,

Stick with stock as said its only a generic map, no point upgrading tbh as may add more vibration to car & also possibly stiffer clutch.

Thanks for the advice, guy at garage said about £350.00. Does this sound reasonable?
