Downpipe removal on 2.0 TDI Quattro

I'm having a bit of an issue with my 140 quattro.

I'm in the process of swapping out the turbo (suprise, suprise) but can't seem to get the downpipe out, does anyone have any hints or am I going to need to drop the subframe?

With the fwd it just pops of the turbo & goes through the gap between subframe & exhaust channel as such, as I've done it numerous times now & got to do again possibly this weekend arrgghhh, but guessing with the quattro shaft, thats blocking the exit as such, so looks like sub has to drop, I will check elsawin when got a minute to be sure.

Yeah, I've dropped the propshaft and can see how it would be real easy on a FWD.

If you wouldn't mind checking that would be great.

The answer is, it comes out with no need to remove anything else.

Sorry mate, tiring day & forgot to reply, buttt, I checked in elsa for your codes & it only showed one route for either 4wd or fwd, as I advised before, drop down through the sub/chassis gap.
