Hi there, first of all I'm new to VCDS. I have carried out a scan to a check engine light which came on at random a day ago and wondered if anyone can offer any help with the two faults which I have, my car is a 2007 8P S3...

Fault 1

Fault 2

Address 52: Door Elect, Pass. Labels: 1K0-959-702-MIN3.lbl
Part No SW: 8P0 959 802 K HW: 8P0 959 802 K
Component: Tuer-SG H02 0040
Coding: 0000560
Shop #: WSC 06314 000 00000
VCID: 4481092E07EE2A38454
1 Fault Found:
00933 - Electric Window Motor; Passenger Side (V148)
005 - No or Incorrect Basic Setting / Adaptation

This fault has confused me slightly, as the window is operating completely fine and the coding is the same as the drivers side door module.

Another thing I need to do is reduce the voltage supplied to the DRL Bulbs, as I've fitted some 9W Cree LEDs supplied by Trups and can't figure out how to make this change.

I have done some coding for coming home lights, remote window functions and others which have all worked fine which is good news :)

Check here for the engine code:

P0441 EVAP Emission Control Sys: Incorrect Flow

The door error is just the one touch system, just run it all way up & hold button at top for 10 seconds, then run all way down & hold button at bottom for 10 seconds, then go into module & clear/check for errors.

Thanks Nigel, ill have a check of what the guy in the thread did to solve the problem.

And the voltage can apparently be changed (or a similar method) to suit the LED bulbs, that's what I was advised by Trups a while back.

No, it has a set specification for a coding option, so expects to see a certain resistance etc, so if you have an option for bixenon, it looks for what it should get for when they're connected, same as halogen & same as say number plate led's on newer 8P's.

All sorted now thanks for the help :) bulb error was removed by coding the headlights as the option with Led DRLs as opposed to seperate DRLs.

Thats exactly what my post advised then lol, the coding changes what it should see/expect, anyway you're extremely lucky as not all led's will be registered the same, lucks on your side.

I know I must be very lucky, on the other side I'm getting hooked at discovering what can be done with VCDS, tempting me more and more with some of the retrofits, which ill probably be in touch with you about Nigel :)
