Forge Quickshift - lever pops up in reverse

I've got Forge Quickshift fitted -the full set fitted. When selecting reverse the lever pops back up even though reverse gear is still selected. Any ideas why? Has it been fitted incorrectly or is there some adjustment thats needed?

Just give Forge a ring, they're usually very good at helping with there parts, they will sort it.

Spoke to Forge - its normal. I didn't notice this before it was fitted ... so the tehnician went out to his A3 and tried there and then. Great service Forge ...

do it yourself mate, really easy to fit. took me about half hour to install and fully adjust til i was happy.
