I have this sraping sound coming from the turbo.
Under light acceleration as well as heavy.
It is a scrape/rasp like sound.
The car is an 8p2 (BWA) 2.0 TFSI Sport
Repairing it is not an option for me. At the moment I could not do it and need to keep the car on the road. The M.S. is flaring up so fine motor movements are difficult. I figured just replace it but I am baffled with the options. OEM is very pricey and there are alternatives out there but would like recommendations.
So any recommendations?
Or may be one of those places where you can buy the new one and send your old one to them for a bit of cash. I may choose to keep hold of it and repair it one day.
