audi s3 mild ticking noise at idle and when pulling away fast paced

got a ticking noise when cars idling had car since 8000k now at 40k had gearbox replaced under warranty at 22k and exhaust manifold and cat gasket think that was the way i drove it when i got it treat her nicer now tho although im not sure wether the ticking noise is a hole in exhaust maybe when they replaced gearbox they had to take exhaust off and dealership obv dont use exhaust paste to ensure combustion so the ticking could actually be blowing from a pipe unsure tho any help appreciated

Ticking noises are fairly common on high performance cars after a bit of a blast, its just the exhaust system cooling down & nothing to worry about.
