Hi all need some advice on a mirror for auto lights wipers. I have got a mirror from a mate pn#8R0571511. Will this be ok for a 2011 a3 8P. Been searching google and some say yes some say no. Thanks in advance.

Part numbers wrong, its 8R0857511 & comes up as auto anti dazzle for the 8P range yes.

Hi I've started fitting the auto light wipers. I have connected the kufatec loom to ce plug b pin 33 (Lin bus loom) and plug c pin 28 (backup signal) and lgnition plus and steady plus to the fuse board. Connected the gnd. Activated in vcds (rls) now the head light switch has an extra plug on the old one that I don't no where go's (little plug with one red and black wire). my lights are always on and get an error say auto lights wiper deactive.

You need to purchase the auto version that is for your year/car as that extra connection was added to newer cars.
If using a kufatec loom then pray its fully wired properly, but as I dont know what they have supplied I wouldnt like to speculate.
