hi, i have a 2.0 tdi 6 speed 04 and have a whining noise only in 5th gear when i let of the accelerater. does anybody know what this is?
im also in need of a flywheel and clutch being done but am after advice on the noise because if its gearbox related it will be cheaper to get it done altogether ..... i think it is gear box poss bearings but i bet somebody owt ther may teel me theyv had the same thing...... i may b wrong and it cud be flywheel related ....i'm no mechanic!! thanks
