Cops and robbers

Hi guys I was just wondering.. Wether I went through a speed trap today.. I noticed two coppers at the side of the road with a sign which was beside them showing your speed. It had a sad face if your speeding showing your speed and a happy face if you were under the limit. I'm just wondering if this is a speed trap and if you can be done for speeding? Or is it to record how many speeding motorists are in that area and wether it would be beneficial to place a speed camera in that area?

Was it in a small village by any chance?

If you was speeding you will have your plate jotted down and a letter sent to you about how you can kill people at 40, and reduce death if you was to hit somebody at 30.

As far as im aware it is a warning, so you will not be gave any points or fine.

Ah it's looking promising for getting away with it then yeah they were in a little village near where I live hiding round a corner they must of just been finishing there break as they were walking back to where they had there speed trap so I don't think they'll of quite got me
