S3 8P Release bearing

been searching for uprated release bearings for audi S3 8P's does anyone make them? Putting in an uprated clutch so wandered if there is an uprated bearing also.

Hi tim ,u just need a oem standard release bearing from audi and new flywheel bolts

If it's leaking I will replace mine, but I wandered if there was an Uprated version anywhere out there to save failure

Now in your S3 you probably have release bearing with plastic casing which is good
but that's what you need now buddy! No more plastic

That is oem it says and looks plastic?

Yeah replace with OEM and is plastic - and easy part to fit but a basstard to get to!! Whole subframe, gearbox and clutch has to come out!

Tim make a call to FR&R,the last time i ordered clutch release bearing for my S3
from them it was not plastic!

I wish i'd took some photos of the old one when i fitted the clutch and new release bearing
to my car! The old one was all plastic housing and the new one is made from
sime kind of a magnesium casing i believe. Yes the part number is the same but you can still
get the ****ty plastic one
