Mechatronic unit Recall - I think mine needs to be looked at, how do i know?

As the title really how will i find out if mine needs to be recalled? I'm sure there is a problem with mine

Shall i ring Audi customer services?

VCDS will give full codes for box fitted to your car. Then check with Audi for a technical bulletin.

Anyone know when this recall is for? If I have an 09 onwards is it unlikely mine will be on the list?
