Hitachi fuel pump help.....

Ok so i changed my cam follower yesterday and when putting the car back together noticed a fuel leak from one of the bottom lines going into the pump....

Its the banjo fitting to the left ( as u look at from front of car)

So we un did the spline bolt again and took the pump off to find the banjo bolt has snapped in the pump

I should be able to get this out however
Can any one help with
-can i buy a bolt and re fit it?
-have this happened to anyone on here? How did u fix it?

If no debris got into the pump, you should be able to just replace the bolt. Make sure you torque it correctly, and use new washers.

Not the same situation, but I stripped the fitting on the right once. I found that the dealer doesn't sell the fitting separately from the pump (at least the one on the right,) but luckily the parts guy hooked me up. He went and found a pump that was going back under warranty and swapped the fitting for me.

Wish I could offer you more advice, but worst case scenario, maybe a friendly parts guy can help you out. :thumbup:
