Audi A3 SE 2004 Concert stereo no power.

Hi Guys,

new car new forum. Just picked up my Audi A3 yday, all running well besides the stereo will not power on. The red interior light around the stereo turns on but besides that nothing.

Checked so far....

• Fuses inside and outside the car
• Pulled stereo out to check all cables are in correct position
• Inserted new stereo and still nothing ?

Im at a loss here, ive searched around and can't see any real reason why it is doing this. If anyone could help me on this situation it would be greatly appreciated.

Just to add, I have now taken the battery in and out like suggested on another forum but still nothing....
